Individualized Tutoring
LawMasters offers individualized tutoring, which is
available by phone and email. This is especially helpful for candidates who are in a
geographic region where there are no group sessions.
In addition to offering the materials presented in the
Group Workshop, candidates also receive unlimited review of practice essays in order to
help them pass the bar.
For first-time New York or California bar exam takers, we
also offer an intensive six day MBE workshop in conjunction with another bar review
organization, plus complete study materials.

Also, LawMasters specifically addresses issues like essay
writing for those whose first language is not English.
Holistic study scheduling and organization assists students
in organizing an effective and balanced study regime. American bar exams are as much a
physical and emotional marathon as they are a mental test. We will also discuss stress
reduction methods such as prayer and meditation. Law subject linkage deals with
understanding the various components of the law as a whole. This is especially helpful for
students with a civil law background. "Cross-over" topics are well known
and feared in American written exams.
Essay writing focuses on the particular style and pattern
that law examiners look for. MBE practice emphasizes how the MBE can best be studied for
and how students can best pace themselves on the exam. This includes a look at American
colloquialisms—common on the MBE.
The performance test review is for those jurisdictions
which require a practical skills component. Substantive law review is available for
individualized tutoring and will emphasize those subjects that applicants may not have
been exposed to before or need review on. This will include the multistate subjects and
other subjects particular to the jurisdiction chosen.
